InfraBooster organisers also reserve the right to accept only a limited number of applicants per scientific organisation. Áttekintés
InfraBooster is a modular training program for representatives of scientific organisations that own research infrastructures. It offers capacity building and support in designing infrastructure-based services that could be offered for companies.
You will be able to leverage the existing assets: commercially-relevant research infrastructures, skills and knowledge of research teams.
InfraBooster will bring you closer to the industry, increasing the collaboration, international exposure and innovativeness of your institution, and help you establish a new source of revenue.
It ensures that participants adopt standard vocabulary and gain an understanding of the innovative contexts, in which research infrastructures could be leveraged for science-industry collaboration.
It also helps participants identify the most viable research infrastructures, enabling beneficiary organisations to encourage multiple research teams to apply once a basic understanding has been gained.
This initial level of InfraBooster educational module serves as the foundation for the next level – advanced training: InfraBooster Practitioner.
Successful completion is confirmed by proof of completion of an educational program accredited with EIT Label.

Introduction to InfraBooster certification pathways: knowledge, skills and competencies; benefits for participants and their organisations.
Leveraging research infrastructures (RIs) for knowledge transfer: the third mission of universities and public research institutes (going beyond teaching and research, societal contributions, knowledge transfer scenarios); making money from research at scientific organisations: technology transfer, spin-offs, contract R&D, analytical services and education and the opportunities for making money from commercial access to RIs; RIs of scientific organisations that open up opportunities for industrial collaboration and revenue generation: benefits, limitations and risks.
How to select research infrastructures (RIs) for knowledge transfer: identifiable, relevant and competitive RIs; looking for RIs differentiators; RIs as the basis for commercial strategy.

How is it delivered?
The InfraBooster Foundation is organized multiple times per year.
The InfraBooster Foundation is delivered ONLINE, including participants’ individual work via the Kampus VLE platform and online training sessions, organized multiple times per year and upcoming editions are to be announced according to launch.
The program will be conducted in English – at least working knowledge is required.

The program is highly interactive and features various learning methods (e.g., case studies, Q&A, teamwork).
Case study – knowledge transfer opportunities, decision making and selection criteria: discussion of research focus areas a fictional university faculty (FADES), types of R&D activities and opportunities for industrial collaboration; research infrastructures – sources of uniqueness, target customers/industries that benefit from the RI, ways of making money from the RI, existing versus planned RIs.
